    Prizes

Two tiers of prizes will be provided.

All drivers using the facility to complete at least 3 of their required 6 races (see Competition Requirements below) are eligible for any Trophies, Cash or other tangible prizes being offered.  These prizes are known as TIER 1 (in-house) prizes.   All drivers who do not qualify for those prizes will be eligible for any bonus iRacing or RPM credits offered. These prizes are known as TIER 2 (external) prizes.

Details of Prizes for each series (if offered) will be outlined in each session booking page or on the iRacing league information page.

    How to compete

Official RPM Series are comprised of standard RPM Race sessions (all in-house sessions are considered official and sanctioned unless otherwise specified) of equal licence grade (Club or Pro) and vehicle class (if more than one vehicle class is being run) which run over the course of a season.

Competitors require an iRacing licence to compete in an Official RPM Series Race Session.

Seasons run for 12 weeks.  You can find out the season time-window and schedule by checking the Session posts on the RPM website, the LEADERBOARD under the specific RPM Series, or the league details on the iRacing website.  On the RPM site, each session title will include the race number (week) of the season from 1 through to 12.  All seasons run for 12 consecutive weeks except Easter and Christmas periods where there may be facility closures.  If a session does not run, the session will carry over to the next week.

When you compete in a race session it will automatically count toward your Series based on Licence Grade and Vehicle Class and your points will be awarded against the current Season in which they are accrued.  You can check the LEADERBOARD for your points tally at any time.

    Competition Requirements

6 (six) Race sessions need to be completed to qualify for the season but only your best 3 Race sessions position points are counted toward a series points total in a season.  You can run as many race sessions as you wish with the best 3 sessions being counted toward your final result.  The more sessions you run, the more opportunities you have to increase your series points score.  Any clean driving points accumulated in any sessions not included in the drivers’ top 3 points races will also be counted at a rate of 1 point per race session.  For example, if you attend 12 race sessions and drive cleanly in all races, then 9 races at a race of 1 point per race is added to your points total – ie: 9 additional points.

Two types of points are accumulated which are added together at the end of the season to provide the official points score for the driver for the series.

    Position Points

    1 – 7 Points

    2- 5 Points

    3 – 4 Points

    4 – 3 Points

    5 – 2 Points

    6+ – 1 Point

(ie: all positions from 6 back receive 1 point per race for participation)

    Clean Driving Points

Drivers accumulating 0 (zero) incident points for a race session will receive an additional 3 points for the session.  If the session is not counted toward the best 3 points scoring sessions then 1 additional point will be contributed toward the points tally for the driver.

    Penalty Points

Where a driver intentionally causes an incident with another driver or intentionally drives recklessly in a session then the driver will receive a points deduction from their points tally at a quantity at the discretion of race control.  This points deduction will count toward the drivers’ total point tally regardless of whether the session is counted toward their best 3 sessions or not.  In extreme circumstances drivers may be disqualified from competing and/or lose membership and/or credits as a result as determined by race control.

    Disqualification

Disqualification for incident points accumulated in a single session in excess of 30 points in Club level races, and 20 points in Pro level races apply to all RPM Sanctioned leagues.  Drivers may also be disqualified for other intentional actions including reckless driving at the discretion of race control.
