How to edit & save the customisable files
Open the file in Photoshop (or gimp) – Note, these instructions are for Photoshop, if someone would like to provide the GIMP instructions, please contact me and add them in the ‘reply’ section below.
The “Change this layer stripe colour” layer can be adjusted to change the colour of the stripe. Click the layer then click IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > HUE/SATURATION
Adjust the top HUE slider bar to your desired colour and click OK. You can also click “COLORIZE” which will allow you more colour choices. Adjusting the saturation slider will brighten or dull the colour of the stripe.
Adjust the driver name by double-clicking the corresponding “T” icon in the layer next to “Driver Name P/Door”, “Driver Name D/Door”, and “Driver Name Rear” and type your name. The Flags can be changed or turned off by adjusting the corresponding flag layers. We recommend leaving the flags as-is.
Save your paint job as a TARGA file by clicking “SAVE AS” then navigating to the FORMAT section and selecting TARGA (.tga)
Select 32 bits/pixel for the best quality, and COMPRESS (RLE) to make it faster to upload to trading paints.
Upload your paint job to trading paints.
You’re done!
